I have someone who wrote me asking help how to make money without spending in advertising. I wrote a pretty good long letter that is worthy of putting it up here so I will post it here with some modification. Although along the way, I refer and recommend some tools and resources that are not free to make your life much easier. FREE = hardwork, time consuming whereas PAID/PREMIUM = convenient, fast, easy, automated. So stick with this, you’ll learn a great deal by following this guide. (NOTE: This post is protected for members only after “Read the rest of this entry“. Again I’m not an attorney so this advice is purely educational. See my disclaimer and terms of service.)

Okay this method I’m going to teach is free, and I will provide you all the tools you want (it may be free or with a price, but I try to provide you free resources)

First things first. If along the way, you don’t understand or you are stuck, just contact me so that i can guide you. If you get results by following these, would you care send me your testimonials, be it in text, audio or recorded video. And you will agree that i will use it on all my websites or promotions. Can you do that? Okay.

I cover this in TWO Sections one for the free guide and the another section is for recommended tools that is not free. (Getting a domain name is not free, right? at least its $4 up to $10 a year to get one).

SECTION A.

1. Research the product you want to promote. This is where you decide what niche you want to promote and earn money by promoting it. (competitive research intelligence)
2. Go to Google and type the keyword of the product, program or service you want to promote.

Then copy each keyword that appears in the searches. Example: hair loss.

So it appears that related keywords are:
hair loss treatment
hair loss causes
stop hair loss
hair loss video
hair loss prevention
hair loss forum
hair loss transplant
female hair loss
(so you get the idea)

This keyword from my example returned 47,000,000 results. IF you can narrow down to long tail keywords like:
“how to prevent losing hair” the results turned 18,700,00 results but it’s still very competitive keyword and too much competition.

Another way to research is by using Google Keyword tool.

If you decide you want to play with it, you need to spend time lots of time and seed money to burn in PPC (pay per click). But I will show you how to do away with it still even if there’s way more competition. (more on this later at the end of email or see SECTION B.)

So let’s just stick with my example. To beat your competition and compete your keyword,  you must bid your keyword, look for the long tail keywords and it must not returned a result of over 1 million searches results and you can still ahead of the game with what I’m going to teach you using free methods. I know I use this method and the results speaks for itself. See my related story : Google Your Way To Riches.

Next step. Step 3.

Go to clickbank and type the keyword you promote. So in our example, hair loss. You can also use other networks like Click2Sell or CPA networks that are free to join that doesn’t need too much requirement to be accepted.
(Later on section B, I will give you the link for the complete CPA Network lists)

For the sake of this guide, I will use Clickbank first. So Go to Clickbank Marketplace. http://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm

Enter your keyword, and choose in the first 10 results related to your keyword that is good to promote: high commission rate 50% up to 75%, high refd (referred) rate and high gravity.

So I tried entering hair loss under Health and Fitness category, but during my search nothing came up relate to hair loss so I’ve tried to change it to “hair” only. And it shows top 10 pretty pretty good results.

Now let’s focus with #1 and #2. How To Naturally Regrow Lost Hair & Herbal Hair Solution.

Get the Hoplink. Enter your username and optionally your tracking ID. And get/copy your affiliate HopLink ID.

4. Now that you a hoplink or your affiliate link it’s time to promote. Remember we’re going to use free methods so we’re to get you a free website, blog or web 2.0 property that you can call your home. (If you want to create your website though, I have steps what you need to do, see SECTION B.)

So here’s free websites you can signup and create a blog or pages and make it your primary website or your home website.

1. Vox.com
2. Weebly.com
3. Blogspot.com
4. Tumblr.com

Choose any of the 4 and decide that it will be your main home website (let’s call this FOCUS site). Register, create an account, put up your details, have a professional photo in there, at least a way to contact you like an email address and business phone is better. Then linked up your major Social Media site: Facebook and Twitter.

Write a small bio about yourself, put that up. Make it believable and make it sociable In other words: PROMOTE YOURSELF. That’s a biggie. You first, then product or something second.

Step 5 is broken into parts like 5.1, 5.2 and so on.

5.1. You need to write articles to that main website relating to the keyword you just research on step 1.  Then at the end of each article point them to your affiliate link. Or you can use on page hyperlink where you link your keyword with your affiliate link.

Example: Prevent Losing Hair – Natural Tips That Result in Hair Growth

The keyword “Losing Hair” is where you want to put a hyperlink like this:
<a href=”your affilaite link here”>Losing Hair</a>

How to get articles?

1. Through PLR (private label rights article, rewrite them or hire someone to do it for you)

2. Go to WikiHow to get free articles, spice it up with your own words and put that on to your website.

3. You can republish other articles like ezinearticles.com as long as you maintain the author’s bio in the resource box.

4. Use an article rewriter. Or just use my other approach. See this blogpost: http://newbieprofitsystem.com/content/copycat-business

Once you have 3 or 4 articles setup (add another article from time to time) it’s time to promote your main site.(FOCUS site)

5.2 Signup these Web 2.0 websites below and within these sites, there is a way where you can place your website URL. Put up your main home site  there with your details too (see steps #4 above. Remember? your FOCUS site)

Some great ideas for starting an internet business.

Steps

Create a home office. This is not as difficult as one would think. Every home office’s needs are different, but there are some fundamental staples that all require. You will want to have a clean, noise-free environment that has good lighting and is free from distractions. This will help keep you more focused and productive. You will need a desk and chair. The size of your desk will depend on what its function is. You will want a place to store all your information about your customers such as a computer and/or a filing cabinet. You will also want a phone, fax/scanner/copier, Internet connection, and any other communication tools you might need at hand. Since most home-based businesses focus on services or affiliate products, there will be no need for storage. If you are planning to sell your own products and ship them yourself, then make sure you have room to store them all. If you plan on doing meetings outside of your home, there will be no need for a conference room either. If you are going to be seeing clients in your home, and don’t have a conference room, then be sure to keep your place clean and neat at all times. First impressions say a lot.

Create a website.

Keep things simple. You don’t need to have tons of graphics and bright colors plastered all over. The clean, simple design is the best and attracts the most people. Too many things going on throughout a site can be overwhelming to the viewer and drive them away, not get them to stay and come back. Stay away from playing annoying music of any kind on your site. This a sure fire way to drive away business. You also want to stay away from things that require time to load. This slows down the viewer’s access to immediate information. Just because you can put it on a site, it does not mean you have to or should. You want to have value to your site.

Include good content. This will make the viewer linger and become more interested in what you have. There are tons of ways to accomplish this and you will to use and decide what works for you. Pick a few tools of the trade use them and apply them to your site and monitor the response and traffic. If you notice that some are not producing, remove them and try something else. You will have to be diligent but remember that simple is better. You don’t want to implement every tool at once, it can make your viewers feel uncomfortable, so use a few and ditch the rest. Here are just a few possibilities.

Start an e-mail list. They’re great to allow customers to talk about your products and services. Yahoo! groups offer this service free. Members can post comments and questions to you or each other and an e-mail is generated to all users. The group can be private, subject to approval, or public. You will want to see daily traffic and post frequently in the beginning to get things going. Eventually your customers will start talking to each other. These lists are a great tool and keep people active and coming back.

Create some polls for viewers so they can vote on a specific issue related to the site’s content. You want to keep people interactive so they don’t get bored. Writing a poll from scratch can be tricky but they make great templates today that can be of great help. You would fill in the blanks and then copy and paste the code to your site.

Create a weblog or “blog”. This is like an online journal that is frequently updated. You will add some good links into it to advertise your business, of course. It is also a form of communication that allows people to stay updated on what is going on with your business and what they can expect in the future. Today, blogs have taken on a life of their own and are sweeping through cyber land.

Create a valuable product line that exclusively you have it. This is extremely important as it define what made you unique. Unique is not only something that you created, the product must contain value that consumer or your clients purchase can use it or apply it.
